The UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) is currently undertaking the relicensing process for Cogent and the other 24 Sector Skills Councils in the SSC network. Cogent is a not-for-profit, employer-led organisation, licensed by government as the Sector Skills Council for the science-based industries
