BIT (Business Improvement Techniques) NVQ
Due to our nationally recognised expertise in business improvements, picme led the revision of the national standards for the BIT NVQ so that it is appropriate for people across a wide range of roles and industries
The Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) NVQ program supports the continuous improvement methodology that Picme has applied in a wide range of environments
The program enables a nationally recognized qualification in continuous improvement to be attained by the learner who not only gains technical skills but also practical application of improvement methodology and tools. The units are designed to give the learners the knowledge of improvement methodologies, tools & techniques, the ability to manage themselves, others and continuous improvement and the support to take action.
The qualification has two pathways; the process pathway focusing on lean manufacturing methodologies and the quality pathway tailored towards six sigma.
The training can be held on-site through facilitated improvement projects tailored specifically towards the organisation’s needs or off-site with attendance made up from a range of organisations followed by on site assessment.
Learners gain the qualification only through demonstration of meaningful implementation of improvement techniques leading to tangible business benefits
